Built in the early 1900s, Castle Creek Escape is a peaceful mountain retreat being lovingly restored. The front porch is perfect for listening to the creek and soaking in the view. Please note: access to the entrance requires a tall flight of stairs.

Full-size fridge and freezer with filtered water and ice. But with Dunsmuir’s slogan—“The Best Water on Earth”—you might prefer it straight from the tap. Fresh spring water from Mt. Shasta flows into the house—crisp, clean, and unforgettable.
Visiting for the waterfalls? You’ll have your own little cascade right on the property. The creek is seasonal, so its flow varies depending on the time of year—but it always adds a touch of magic.
Serene and restful. This queen bedroom features soft linens, a variety of pillows, and peaceful mountain views. On Sundays, you might hear the gentle ring of church bells from just down the street.
